Preparation: 15 minutes
Cooking: 40-60 minutes
Servings: 12-15 crepes

  • 250g of white flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 250 mL of milk
  • 250 mL of water
  • A pinch of salt
  • Options:
    • If you would like all your crepes to be sweet already: add 2 tbsp of sugar
    • I usually only add cinnamon, vanilla and nutmeg
    • You can use butter or vegetable oil to cook the crepes if you think they’ll stick to the pan

Cooking instructions:

In a big bowl, add all the dry ingredients. Create a hole and put the eggs in.
Stir to mix the eggs with part of the flour. When the batter is thick and the eggs are mixed homogeneously with flour, add the milk slowly to mix in more flour.
Do the same with water.

Mix gently until the batter is homogeneous. (Not adding the liquids one by one slowly will reduce drastically the risk of lumps)

Filter the batter anyway to remove the lumps. (We can’t always see them)

Heat up your pan and start the process of making your crepes.

Make a bunch before the start of the meal, otherwise someone is working while everyone else is partying at the table.

You can really put anything delicious in the crepes… My favourite combo is Nutella with ice cream on the side.

Here you have it. Crepes.
