After 8 months of cooking without buying special herbs and spices for those once in a lifetime type of recipes or thinking “I should buy this, I’ll use it for that in maybe 3 months”, I think I am on the right track.

I will use my stock to the maximum before I buy anything.
By the end of the year, I will be able to say that in my kitchen, there is only what I need and use.

It’s a great feeling.

For those who wonder why I have that many stock cubes, I would have to admit that I have no idea but cupboards are really deep… That’s my excuse! I ended up by these way more often than necessary.

And yes! I looooooove spicy food! So I have chilli flakes, homemade chilli-infused vinegar and harissa on top of the usual paprika and cayenne pepper.
These give my meals an extra bit of “fire” that I like 🙂
